5 Basic Guitar Chords that Beginners Can Accomplish in a Day

Being a beginner in the guitar can feel like looking up on the highest mountain. Before you had the chance to overthrow your first melody, you may almost impossible to find the right hand movements to create something that sounds musically. However, they are not afraid – everyone starts from somewhere, and even a guitar beats the millions of people who never decide to try it!

First of all, it helps to learn where you can place your fingers for the most basic chords. It can be really helpful to get your hands used to the patterns and move the muscles when you finally try to play a melody. Apart from that, the five basic guitar chords that even beginners can learn within a day are. Remember that these are all open chords that are easiest to understand.

1. A major

Let’s start with a major where three fingers are used very close together, which makes it relatively easy. It is best to use your pink, your ring finger and your middle finger for this. The place where you have to click is the 2nd Federation of the B -String, G -String and D -String. 2. G -Dur

To play E -Major, you need a finger on the G string on the 1st Federation, another on the 2nd Federation and another on the A -Saite on the 2nd Federation. Then you play all strings open with the high e -, b cord and the low E strings. It’s so easy!

4. D Major

For D -Major you need a finger on the 2nd waistband of the High E -Saite, another on the 3rd waistband of the B cord and the last finger on the 2nd waistband of the G cord. You only play high e, b, g and d – a and low e are not played for this. D Major is a good starting point because it is easy to learn and very common – it is often used in songs of all genres from different decades.

5. C Major

Finally, you have to learn the C Dur as a beginner. To play this, place your first finger on the 1st waistband of the B -Schnur, your second finger on the 2nd waistband of the D string and your last finger on the 3rd waistband of the A -Saite. Then they play all strings apart from the low E. It is pretty simple, but it may be a while for it to get used to playing it perfectly, just like every chord. The more you practice, the easier it will be when your muscle memory develops.
