King Charles has a net assets of around 800 million US dollars. It serves as a constitutional monarch for 16 areas within the 53-member Commonwealth of Nations and is also the head of the Commonwealth and the Supreme Governor of the Church of England. As the eldest son of the late Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, he inherited quite a legacy. Before he became king, his net wealth was about $ 100 million.
Most of Charles’ income came from the Duchy of Cornwall, a real estate confidence set up in 1337 to support the Prince of Wales and his family. This trust is passed on to the oldest son of the reigning monarch and includes a variety of real estate such as huts, coastal goods and landscape. As a rule, Charles earned around $ 20 to $ 30 million a year through rents and agricultural sales.
In addition to his royal duties, Charles served both in the Royal Navy and in the Air Force. He trained as a jet pilot at the Royal Air Force College in Crärzell and completed a six -week course at the Royal Naval College Dartmouth. His naval carari contained the service on ships such as HMS Norfolk, HMS Minerva and HMS Jupiter, and he was part of the 845 Naval Air Squadron. He is also qualified to fly several planes, including the Harrier T Mk.4 Fighter Jet.
Charles was previously married to the late Diana, Princess of Wales, and is the father of Prince William and Prince Harry. He is now married to Camilla Parker Bowles, who became Queen Consort when he took the throne.

Early life
Charles was born in Buckingham Palace in 1948. He was baptized by Geoffrey Fisher, Archbishop of Canterbury, and used water from the Jordan river. He had a few sponsors, including his grandparents, aunts and cousins.
In the first 73 years of his life until his mother died in September 2022, he was known as Prince Charles or Formal Charles, Prince of Wales.
Training
Charles became the heir at the age of only three when his mother rose to the throne. He received the title Duke of Cornwall. After three years of lessons with his governess, Catherine Peebles, he switched to the Hill House School in West London. Next he visited the Cheam Preparatory School in Berkshire, who had left his father, Prince Philip, as a child.
From there he went to Gordonstoun, a place he really didn’t like, especially because he thought it was too cold to wear kilts. He also spent two hours at the Geelong high school school in Australia, where he became Head Boy like his father. He ended his time there in 1967, ran pretty well in history and in French and achieved an avele.
After ending the secondary school, he went straight to Trinity College Cambridge, where he studied history, anthropology and archeology. In 1970 he completed a 2.2 Bachelor of Arts. He also acquired a Master of Arts from Cambridge and took some Welsh language courses at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth.
Prince of Wales
In 1969 Charles was officially appointed Prince of Wales and also the Earl of Chester. He started the prince’s trust until 1976 and went on a trip to the USA. He holds the record because he was the oldest person who took over the title of Prince of Wales, and he is also the longest inheritance. Interestingly, he was offered the throne of Romania, but decided to pass it on.
military service
Charles was in line with both the Royal Navy and the Air Force. He completed the Royal Air Force College in Crärzell to become Jetpilot, and then spent six weeks at the Royal Naval College Dartmouth for further training. He then served on ships such as HMS Norfolk, HMS Minerva and HMS Jupiter.
He was also part of the 845 Naval Air Squadron and ran the HMS Hermes, finally taking command through the HMS Bronington. He has qualifications to fly different aircraft, including the Chipmunk Basic Pilot Trainer and the Harrier T Mk.4 V/Stol Fighter Jet.
Personal life
Charles not only had an exciting military career, but also a rather eventful love life. He was the charm with the ladies. Burma’s first Earl Mountbatten advised him to enjoy as many wings as possible before he settled, but when it comes to choosing a woman, he should choose someone who fits cute, naive and fits.
He first crossed the paths with Lady Diana Frances Spencer with her sister Sarah. After Charles had hung around a bit, he thought about suggesting her. Despite some hesitation, he stuck the question and they tied the knot in 1981. They welcomed two children, Prince William and Prince Harry. While some people speculate that Prince Harry James Hewitt’s son could be, Hewitt himself made it clear that his affair with Diana happened after Harry’s birth.
Diana and Charles’ marriage ended in 1996. He later married Camilla Parker-Bowles, who was rumored that he was involved with him during his collaboration with Diana. Interestingly, Charles was the first royal to have a civil ceremony instead of a traditional religious wedding.
The Duchy of Cornwall Trust
According to British Royal Law, the oldest child of the reigning monarch can inherit the Duchy of Cornwall. This title is basically a huge real estate portfolio that gives the prince a good income. The Duchy was founded in 1337 by Edward III and was created to support the heirs. When Charles became king in 2022, Prince William automatically took over the title of Prince of Wales and became the beneficiary of Cornwall Trust. When William becomes king, his son George will take on the trust and the cycle will continue.
The British government sees the trust as a “crown association”, which means that its income does not control. This tax -exempt status had been presented with challenges over the years and Charles initiated. From 1993 he paid the standard income tax rate in Great Britain every year.
Duchy extends 133,000 acres in 23 counties in Great Britain, with the country used for agriculture, residential properties and commercial real estate. Today the estimated value of this country is around 1.1 billion US dollars.
As a rule, the trust generates an income of a little more than 20 million US dollars every year, with a few years exceeding more than 30 million US dollars. Charles uses this income to pay salaries for his wife and children.
The crown assets
The Crown Estate is a real estate portfolio that neither Charles nor the government has directly. If King Charles had personal property on the Crown Estate, his net assets would fulfill over 25 billion US dollars, which makes him one of the richest people worldwide. Although he does not have it, he still benefits from his income, which brings about $ 20 million a year. There is also the Duchy of Lancaster, which generates around 30 million US dollars every year. Due to the sovereign scholarship, Charles receives 25% of the income of the crown estate to cover family costs such as travel, household and IT.
In addition, Charles has access to the Royal Collection Trust, in which the art of the royal family and other invaluable pieces are housed. This trust contains over a million objects, including around 7,000 paintings by renowned artists such as Rembrandt and Leonardo da Vinci. The entire collection is estimated at at least 1 billion US dollars.
philanthropy
King Charles is quite a philanthropic that is actively involved in the non -profit foundation of Prince of Wales. It was founded in 1979 and is one of the largest independent foundations in Great Britain. The foundation supports various environmentally friendly and sustainability initiatives, including the International Sustainability Unit and the accounting of Prince of Wales for sustainability projects. In the past ten years he has granted more than 72.5 million US dollars. A remarkable recipient of the support of the foundation is Tusk, an organization that focuses on combating poaching in Africa, with which Prince William and Prince Harry were involved.
King Charles’ remarkable journey to the throne is characterized by an inheritance of commitment, service and philanthropy. His impressive net assets of 800 million US dollars not only reflect his royal heritage, but also his hard work in the administration of the Duchy of Cornwall and Crown Estate. Beyond his assets, King Charles has proven to be a compassionate leader who has deeply committed to sustainability and non -profit purposes.
Through his work with the trust of the prince and other foundations, he has sustainably affected global environmental and humanitarian questions. As a king, he continues to inspire his commitment to his family and the world.
