The basic action of the Tamil Crime Thriller Movie Asthram follows the story of Inspector Akilan (played by Shaam), which begins to examine a number of confusion and apparently random suicide. The determined cop has teamed up with a rookie police officer and realizes that the common connection that connects all victims is that they all stabbed themselves mysterious way. In the further course of the investigation, the police officer emphasizes that everything is associated with a book with the title “Chess – The Secret”, which could possibly be the key to solving the secret and snapping the perpetrator. The film was staged by Aravind Rajagopal (his directorial debut) and shows Niranjani, Nizhalgal Ravi and Jeeva Ravi in interesting roles.
