Holland is an excited thriller that is staged by a famous director Mimi Cave. The film is also in line with Nicole Kidman’s plan to work with at least one female director every 18 months in order to give the female directors the chance to present their talent.
What is Nicole Kidman’s film Holland’s action?
Nicole Kidman plays Nancy Vandergroot, a housewife who lives with her husband and children in the picturesque city of Holland, Michigan. It is religious and cozy, like most other women in the city. The view of the city is somewhat orthodox, as we see that only Dutch dancing is an acceptable form of dance and other dance forms are taboo.
The trailer begins at a normal front until Fred, Nancy’s husband, tells the family that he will stay in another city for work purposes overnight. It begins to suspect that her husband and her suspicion finally lead to the uncovering of secrets and double standards in the city.

In the trailer we see a city that looks pretty unsuspecting to the untrained eye. However, if one would look more precisely, they would find that all dry and other secrets have their own secrets that are covered up by their presumptuous behavior and their stories. Nancy’s story of her life in Holland has a troubling tone that makes the audience a bigger and darker game in the game. If you go through the poster in the film, you can expect physical violence in the film.
Gael Garcia Bernan comprises the secondary line -up of the film as Dave Delgado, who deals with Nancy and her family. Rachel Senott is Candy Deboer, Isaac Kresner and Jeff Pope are Shawn and Squiggs Graumann.
Are you as excited for this like us? Well, Holland is scheduled to premiere at the Southwest Festival 2025 South by Southwest, followed by a global Ott premiere on March 25, 2025 on Amazon Prime Video.
