About the Kaadhal Enbadhu Podhu Udamaai
Kaadhal Enbadhu Podhu Udamai deals with contemporary ideas of love and sexuality. The story follows Samyuctha (Lijomol Jose), a 25-year-old Kathak dancer who trusts her mother Lakshmi (Rohini) about her romantic relationship. Assuming that her daughter’s partner is male, Lakshmi is ready to welcome him. However, when she discovers that Samykuctha’s partner is a woman, Nandhini (Anusha Prabhu), family tensions rise, which leads to emotional conflicts. The film examines the family’s struggle to accept Samyuctha’s love while fighting to remain true to herself and her relationship.
With regard to the line -up, the film Lijomol Jose, Rohini, Vineeth, Deepa Shankar, Anusha, Kalesh and others in crucial roles. Sree Saravanan processed cinematography on the technical front, Kannan Narayan composed the music, and Dani Charles edited the film.
