Directed by Ritesh Batra, the underlying premise of the film revolves around a struggling street photographer, Rafi (played by Nawazudddin Siddiqui), who is constantly put under pressure by his grandmother, to find and marry a suitable girl. Rafi’s grandmother wants to meet the woman in the photo (played by Sanya Malhotra), which he showed her. Now Rafi has to convince the stranger to pretend to be his fiance and play with. The story takes another interesting turn if the unlikely duo forms a unique bond despite its different background. The film also contains Farrukh Jaffar, Geetanjali Kulkarni, Sachin Khedekar, Vijay Raaz and Jim Sarbh in interesting roles.
